چکیده

Coronary occlusion is one of the potential complications during transcatheter aortic valve implantation. Second-generation fully retrievable and repositionable devices can theoretically prevent this complication. Figure 1 (A) Delivery system containing the unexpanded Lotus valve through the aortic valve; (B) the Lotus valve partially expanded. A 81-year-old woman with symptomatic aortic stenosis (valve area 0.52 cm 2 ; peak and mean gradients 118 and 70 mmHg, respectively; normal ejection fraction) was referred for transcatheter aortic valve implantation. Bicuspid Aortic Valve: An Unusual Cause of Aneurysm of Left Coronary Sinus of Valsalva

Bicuspid aortic valve is traditionally considered an innocuous congenital anomaly. Due to a better and widespread availability of non-invasive imaging techniques, it has come to the fore that 30% of these cases develop complications, viz., valve abnormality (aortic regurgitation and stenosis), and aneurysm of aortic root and ascending aorta. Sinus of Valsalva aneurysm is an uncommon complicatio...
